Or what I have been doing since June 22, 2009 (the day of my last post).
1. Still working at an undisclosed military location somewhere on the east coast. Gotta love the Marines! Jogging by, wearing shorts and sweaty t-shirts... all running in unison... all muscular beyond belief... all young enough to be my sons.
2. Won a TypePad/Cisco Million Acts of Green design prize. Still have not redeemed my winnings. Think I forgot what I did with it. Got some Typepad Swag, though... to go with my Vox swag... to go with my Wordpress swag. Boy, I seem to have a lot of blog swag just laying around the house. Does this mean I blog a lot?
3. Currently writing the equivaliant of a New York Times Best Seller over on "one of my other blogs". Have 800 readers breathing down my neck every day. Wish I could chuck it all and fade back into obsurity, but I made this bed and must lie in it. Not putting up a link on purpose. My VOX buddies will surely think I am deranged if they knew the subject matter of the story.
4. Have lost 30 pounds doing the low carb thing. Have about 20 more to go. All in my gut. Low carb is the only thing that ever works for me.
5. Thinking about going to see Julia/Julie or Julie/Julia (or whatever it's called). This story appeals to me for some reason, don't know why. Amy Adams' voice drives me to drink.
6. And speaking of drinking... drinking Sangiovese at the moment. On third glass. Obviously not going to the movies tonight.
